Revolutionary BCF Technology
On the occasion of the ITMA, Oerlikon Neumag presented, for the first time, a revolutionary new BCF Carpet Yarn technology. "Be ready for tomorrow" is the motto for this development that allows a productivity increase with a higher carpet yarn output by up to 40%. Furthermore, energy savings, a higher efficiency and the easy handling also of automated processes are the central issues.
New Dimensions in Staple Fiber Production
Another highlight was the new staple fiber production technology which will be applicable for production lines from 100 t/d up to 400 t/d (per line). The completely new fiber draw technology saves energy costs thanks to e-save and shows an advanced crimping system for higher fiber quality. Furthermore, production costs per kg of fibers and investment costs per ton of capacity will be reduced.
