Airlaid Lines

Airlaid products by M&J are characterised by the formation of fibrous webs using air as the transporting medium from the raw material preperation to the web forming systems, and also for the actual web forming process. Fibrous and powder material can be combined to produce single or multiple layer products, where each layer is specifically engineered for its application in the web, such as acuisition, distribution and absorption layers.

The M&J Airlaid Technology ensures maximum flexibility and constant product quality. The core of this technology is the patented Fibre Forming System that enables the production of wide width webs based either on 100% pulp fibres or homogeneous mixtures of different fibres and powders.

Airlaid Lines

Typical raw materials are fluff pulp, bicomponent bonding fibres and Super Absorbent Powders for absorbent core material. By combining the M&J Airlaid Technology with other forming and bonding technologies, for instance carding and spunlacing, it is possible to produce webs that combine the advantages of each technology to produce webs with specific characteristics.

The main markets for Airlaid products are absorbent core material for different hygienic applications, for instance feminine hygiene, as well as tabletop and wiping material. Health care and incontinence as well as a multitude of other special applications are also serviced today using airlaid products.
